The drummer? Why live musicians? What can they do that recorded music can not? Tenth Week (8/9-8/13) -Exploring the Diversity of Art Create an Art Gallery *African MASKS *African Artists *African Sculpture *African numbers in print *Baluba Art *African animal’s prints Eleventh Week (8/16-8/20) * African Parade for the Toddlers Performance (Learn, Retain and Apply by senses) * Prepare the performance -Make the backgrounds; build props and paint a backdrop for the upcoming African show. * Make the costumes. * Practice: choreography & lines. *At our Spanish Immersion Summer Camp children from all ethnicities join together to make a story “Un viaje al safari” come to life. Each week is dedicated to a theme which is taught in an enthusiastic, fun-filled environment. Whether a child is unable to speak Spanish or is very fluent in Spanish, every participant will enhance their language skills with exciting, entertaining, and life enhancing adventures through Spanish immersion. Unit Overview: In this unit students review simple phrases, answer basic information questions and review vocabulary of emotions, colors, shapes, animals, weather, and numbers colors, words, letters,etc. That they learned during the Summer camp. You can choose as many weeks as you want with a minimum of 3 weeks. Children will be taught the culture behind the language through: Music, Gardening, Acting, Dancing, Science, Arts, Crafts, Math, Language, play a large role, Culture, traditional games and songs, Gymnastics & Yoga.
